AUSTIN, Texas — Press, an Austin-based startup focused on providing a modern approach to dry cleaning and laundry, has expanded its service into Fort Worth.
With Press, customers receive free pickup and delivery to their doorstep, amazing customer support, and the ability to schedule, manage and pay for service from anywhere using the Press web and mobile apps. While a lot of dry cleaners have hours that aren’t conducive for someone with a busy lifestyle, Press provides extended pickup and delivery times that work with nearly any schedule.
“Fort Worth is the seventh fastest growing city in the US, right behind Dallas, so expanding our service into the area was an obvious choice for us,” says Ryan Harmon, co-founder and CEO of Press. “Fort Worth is also a young city with a lot of students and young professionals that want to enjoy more time doing what they love. Our goal at Press has always been to provide a better experience when it came to worrying about laundry and dry cleaning, and I think Fort Worth residents will really enjoy checking that chore off their list with the tap of a button.”
Since its founding in 2015, Press has offered dry cleaning and laundry services in Austin. After raising a seed round of $500,000, the startup has been able to quickly expand its service into seven different markets and counting. In addition to Fort Worth, Press has taken aim at the other big Texas cities, including Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, and Lubbock.
While Press is a customer-centric brand, they are also helping local dry cleaners and laundromats increase delivery efficiency and increase order numbers by providing marketing and technology in an industry that’s begging for innovation. “We’re providing these local business owners with technology and online marketing that has previously not been easily accessible to the industry,” says Harmon. “If you don’t have data on your business, it makes it extremely difficult to know if you’re making the right business decisions. Our technology delivers the insights that local laundromats and dry cleaners need to make the right moves and increase efficiency.”
